Zusammenfassung: | The report is based on the project's First Feedback Conference which was held on September 18th and 19th 2013 and marked the end of the project's analytical phase. It consists of four parts: First the mission of the project is outlined. The second chapter summarises Research Area-specific contribitions to the project's central questions. Furthermore a first attempt is made to derive policy conclusions from the results of the (often) divergent contributions of the many analytical papers. The fourth chapter includes four major cross-cutting issues presented and discussed during the conference, i.e., socio-technical transitions, gender regimes and gender policies in Europe, subjective well-being as well as a macroeconomic model with social and environmental aspects. Finally, this conference report presents the policy relevant research output in the different Research Areas at the time of the Feedback Conference and shows the results and further research agenda in some of the core issues of the project. These issues comprise measuring well-being, gender issues and the welfare state, the economics of innovation, and model-based policy analysis.
