Zusammenfassung:Liberalization of the telecommunications market is considered an important step in the creation of an information society; liberalization is also a precondition for exploiting the potential of new jobs in the information sector. On a global basis, telecommunications operators and equipment manufacturers have reduced employment; the only employment gains were recorded in the service sector.
