Zusammenfassung: | Abstract: Albania is one of the Eastern European countries that has done some radical changes, in their way through the reform, toward market economies. Many branches of the economy are involved in the processes of privatization, restructuring and deregulation. The reform, sooner or later, will go through the power industry also, and this is one of the relatively developed branches of the Albanian industry. The aim of these study is to give a presentation of the power industry in Albania, an approximation of the cost formation structure in this particular industry and some possible forms for its restructuring, taking in consideration the recent western and eastern experiences in this field. It aims to contribute modestly in the debate on the possible different forms of organization of Albanian power industry trying to explain their advantages and disadvantages when applied to the Albanian reality.; |
