Zusammenfassung: | The 81st Euroconstruct conference held in Dublin on 10 June 2016 clearly pointed out the recovery path of the construction markets in the 19 participating European countries. It confirmed that 2015 was the first time after eight years that all Euroconstruct countries recorded an increase in GDP. This positive development is expected to continue in the forecasting period until 2018. The construction markets showed in 2015 a solid performance. In 2016 all 19 construction markets covered by the network are expected to grow, with the best outlook for Ireland, Poland, Hungary and the Netherlands. The recovery will be more dynamic in most Eastern European countries (except Slovakia) within the three year period 2016-2018 (+5.5 percent), all above in Poland. Average growth for the whole Euroconstruct region will be around 2.6 percent during that period. – With contributions by Anders Bjerre, Jan Blahoňovský, Célia Colin, Ludwig Dorffmeister, Anne Haubo Dyhrberg, Josep Ramon Fontana, Anne Kathrin Funk, Anna Gáspár, Paul Groot, James Hastings, Bengt Henricson, Annette Hughes, Michael Klien, Vladimir Lenko, Jean-Pierre Liebaert, Barbora Pospíšilová, Stéphane Radureau, Markku Riihimäki, Emmanuel Rozenkier, Radislav Semenov, Kjell Senneset, Adam Sochacki, Mariusz Sochacki, Antonella Stemperini, Deogratias Urayeneza, Conceição Vital, Michael Weingärtler, Youssef Yacoubi
