Zusammenfassung: | Austria's construction outlook is more favourable compared to the Euroconstruct area as a total. Nevertheless overall growth expectations will be at very low rates of about 1 percent throughout the forecast period 2013-2015. The housing sector is expected to benefit from renovation and modernisation activities (+1.5 percent) while new housing will grow well below 1 percent within the next years. Civil engineering is expected to decline in 2013 (–0.6 percent) and it is expected to recover throughout the forecast period to 2015. – The Euroconstruct Country Report for Austria gives in-depth information on the Austrian construction market until 2015.
